Orion the Hunter and it’s Stars
If you go out after sunset turn to the East and look up to find Orion the Hunter. You will see three stars in a line that make up the belt of Orion and four stars in a rectangle around the three belt stars that make up his shoulders and legs.
The star on Orion’s right shoulder (your left) is Betelgeuse, a huge red giant thousands of times larger than the Sun. The other shoulder is Bellatrix. Rigel is a huge blue giant and Saiph completes the square. Betlgeuse, Bellatrix, Rigel, Saiph. Say it four times fast and you will be ready to go out and find Orion.
Bring a friend out and teach them to find Orion and the names of the stars.
